Delete your Yiimi account.
In the app
- Open Yiimi and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read what will happen, type DELETE, and confirm.
It takes effect immediately. There is no waiting period and nothing to cancel.
By email, if you can’t open the app
Email support@yiimiconnect.com with the subject Delete my account and the phone number on the account. To be sure the request is yours, we will send a code to that number and ask you to reply with it. Once it matches, we delete the account the same day and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your profile and name are deleted.
- Your message history, everything in it — photos, voice notes and documents included — and your call log are erased from Yiimi.
- Your contacts and blocks go, and you disappear from your contacts’ lists.
- Your updates disappear immediately.
- Your phone number and the push identifier for your phone are removed.
The one thing that stays
Reports that other people filed about you are kept, without your name — and, when the reported message carried a photo, a voice note or a document, that file, for the reviewer — so that a pattern of abuse cannot be erased by deleting an account. Nothing else remains.
Not sure?
If you only want to stop being reachable for a while, log out instead (Settings → Log out): calls and messages stop reaching that phone until you sign in again, and nothing is deleted. The Privacy Policy has the full picture of what we keep.
